TINY SCAN: This is another Tammy find! It allows you to create PD scan-like images of various text you may take pictures of! A great way to save information or go paperless!
VENN is one of those apps that is so simple your students will love it! It's a great way for students to organize their thoughts and ideas in a "pretty" way!
PREZI: Prezi spices up your presentation style! The site has come a long way but the app is so intuitive and easy to use! Kids love it and so do I!
TAP QUIZ MAPS: Okay it's my "flappy bird." Basically you tap on maps and try to identify different countries, provinces, territories and states. The perfect way to expand your geographic knowledge!
EPIC is exactly what it says... EPIC! It is free for teachers (but worth the investment if you aren't). This app allows students to choose what interests them and read a variety of NEW books from various genres. It also logs their reading and even tells them if they haven't read (just flipped the pages). Try it with your daily five!
HANDOUTS is an amazing app that allows for a paperless classroom! You can assign worksheets, have students type up answers, colour in diagrams and submit them THEN mark them and send them back! You can even keep a portfolio of their work. It's that amazing!
